Hi,
My name is Michael McLean. I live in Wyoming Minnesota with my parents, my younger brother, and younger sister. I am 24 years old and I have an affinity for the written word. I wouldn't say that I would like to be a media journalist persay, but the idea of a field journalist does entice me. I love the outdoors and anything that has to do with the peace and serenity derived from nature.
I am in my third year of college now at ARCC in Cambridge, and if all goes to plan, I should be transferring to Mankato State University in December. There, I have a loving girlfriend named Gena who is also a skilled writer and artist. I plan to eventually get into the profession of writing; whether I write for a column in a newspaper, journalistic articles, or fictional novels, this is what I love to do.
If I were to say what I'd like my legacy to be, I'd say it would be to inspire people through my writing. I would like for the world to just slow down long enough to listen... Listen to the wind, a voice of reason, anything besides crumble underneath the burdensome weight of this fast life we humans have created to keep us blinded from the true way to live.
